1. About the experience

Quorilume is an operator-supervised augmented-reality photo experience for private and public events. A Quorilume operator controls the session from company-owned equipment while visitors view the live camera experience on an external display.

These Visitor Terms supplement the separate Camera Kit legal flow shown in the application. They do not replace Snap’s terms or accept them for a visitor.

2. Who may participate

The experience is for visitors aged 13 or older. In the Czech operating flow, a visitor aged 13–14 may participate only when a parent or legal guardian confirms the use. Children under 13 must not use the experience.

3. Participation is voluntary

Participation is optional. A visitor may decline or stop before capture without affecting entry to the event or unrelated services offered by the event organiser.

By choosing to continue, the visitor requests the AR photo experience and agrees to the local creation and temporary storage of a photo as described in the Privacy Policy.

4. Camera and AR Lens operation

The camera displays a live image and the selected AR Lens applies a visual effect in real time. Quorilume uses Snap Camera Kit for these effects.

Before the first Lens interaction, the visitor must review and accept the Camera Kit terms through the SDK-owned prompt. The prompt’s wording and presentation are controlled by Camera Kit. If the visitor declines, a Lens cannot be activated and the visitor can return to the welcome state.

5. Capture and Preview

A photo is created only when the visitor or operator initiates capture. The result is then shown in Preview on the external display. The current service creates photos only; it does not record video or audio and does not provide automatic publication or printing.

6. Local storage and deletion

Captured JPEG photos are stored locally on the Quorilume Android device. The current service does not upload them to Quorilume cloud storage or Google Drive.

Photos are deleted as soon as the agreed delivery is complete where operationally practical and no later than seven days after capture. A visitor may request earlier deletion using the contact procedure in the Privacy Policy.

7. Respectful and safe use

Visitors must follow reasonable operator instructions and must not:

  • interfere with or damage the equipment;
  • attempt to bypass the visitor interface or access previous captures;
  • use the experience to harass, threaten, or unlawfully photograph another person; or
  • use an effect or resulting photo in a way that infringes another person’s rights or applicable law.

The operator may pause or end a session where necessary to protect visitors, privacy, equipment, or the safe operation of the event.

8. Availability

Quorilume may temporarily limit or stop the experience because of equipment, network, venue, safety, Lens availability, or operational issues. A particular effect or capture cannot be guaranteed to remain available throughout an event.

9. Third-party technology

Snap Camera Kit is third-party technology governed by Snap’s own legal materials. Accepting these Quorilume Visitor Terms does not automatically accept the Camera Kit terms. Quorilume does not claim endorsement, certification, sponsorship, or partnership by Snap.

You can read Snap’s Privacy Policy and Snap’s Terms.
